County recorder receives local professionalism award
Medina County Recorder Linda Hoffmann, managing partner of Palecek, McIlvaine, Hoffmann & Morse Co., LPA, received the Professionalism Award at Thursday’s meeting of the Medina County Bar Association.
Local bar President Michael Callow was quick to note that in this month recognizing the accomplishments of women throughout history, Hoffmann is the association’s first female recipient of the Professionalism Award.
A recently instituted honor, the award recognizes a member of the bar association who exemplifies “exceptional dedication to the standards of the profession and demonstrated integrity and commitment to the community.”
At the award presentation at the Blue Heron Event Center, Hoffmann accepted the award following an introduction by her law firm partner Mary Jo Morse upon the nomination of the firm’s associate attorney Matthew Simpson. Morse cited Hoffmann’s “high ethical standards” along with her “hard work and dedication” on behalf of clients in support of the association’s recognition.
